The Pearls of Henderson Foundation, Inc. (TPOHF) will award seven scholarships ranging from $500 to $1000. You may apply to multiple scholarships from TPOHF, however, eligible students will only be awarded one scholarship. The deadline to complete and submit this application is midnight APRIL 30, 2026. Recipients will be notified no later than May, 30, 2026.

The JoElla Haynes Julien Scholarship  - Four $500.00 Scholarships:
The JoElla Haynes Julien Scholarship will be awarded to 4 African-American (US citizens) graduating high school female students residing in Southern Nevada who will attend a college or university fall 2026. These scholarships are awarded based on the recipients' academic achievement, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, and financial need.


The TPOHF HBCU -  One $500 Scholarship
Scholarship will be awarded to 1 high school student residing in Southern Nevada who will attend an HBCU fall 2026. This merit-based scholarship is will be awarded based on need, and the applicant's academic achievement, community involvement, and extra-curricular activities.

The TPOHF Scholarship - One $1000.00 Scholarship
The TPOHF Scholarship will be awarded to 1 graduating high school student  who will attend a two- or four-year colleges/universities and/or vocational/technical full time. The applicant's academic achievement, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, and financial need will be considered.
