Ride for a Cause & Classic Car Showcase - September 16, 2023!

The annual "Ride for A Cause" is a Social Justice and Human Rights Initiative addressing gender equality issues including: human trafficking and domestic violence, services for children with incarcerated parents, youth aging out of foster care and children in homeless shelters.

The 2023 Ride and Classic Car Showcase, are held in collaboration with the Psi Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Buffalo Soldiers MC Las Vegas Post and Harley-Davidson Henderson to benefit R.I.S.E. Homes of Las Vegas.

Youth

Approximately, 40% of youth who have aged out of foster care are homeless nationwide. The National Foster Youth Institute recently estimated that 60 percent of child sex trafficking victims have been within foster care (or another part of the larger child welfare system). Nevada ranks 1st in the nation for unaccompanied and unsheltered youth.

Help stabilize families and single women in temporary shelters/housing
